This class will mobilise the diaphragm and build your lungs capacity to inflate, which will create more space and freedom for the breath to move into, allowing you to naturally breathe deeper and more complete breath cycles. It is intended to be a seated practice so that you are able to feel the breath moving in all 360 degrees, however if you want or need to lie down for whatever reason you can do so.
Try to keep your eyes closed for the entire practice to minimise your distractions, however if you ever feel lost or need a visual demonstration of the techniques being performed you can briefly open your eyes to better understand what is being taught. Naturally, the more you practise, the easier it will be for you to understand.
