This video is a slow tutorial to teach you some different variations of practising Sun Salutations. Sun Salutations are a traditional and amazing way to warm up the muscles and joints of the body, preparing you for more dynamic movements. They also help to circulate energy throughout the body and will perfectly centre you with your breath to set yourself up for your moving meditation practise.

Starting from beginner (and traditional) variations, we move through to more advanced variations, introducing 'The Float’ as well as the handstand variation.

Take this class as far as you want to without forcing anything or putting any pressure on yourself to perform. It took me years of practise to learn the more advanced variations in this class so don't be frustrated if it's not happening for you yet, everyone has to start somewhere!
