Introduction To Vinyasa

Vinyasa is the style of Yoga that i practise most myself. It's hot and energetic and is based on synchronising your breath with the movement of your body. Individual poses are connected with flowing transitions in a continuous sequence.

This is a great way to understand the importance of your breath as well as build a stronger connection between mind and body (coordination). By being a continuous movement it will also help to gain a higher level of cardiovascular fitness. You can expect to sweat and be challenged in this full length Vinyasa class that will build lots of heat and strength in the legs and core.

Take breaks whenever you feel like you are losing control of your breath, it's more important to stay mentally relaxed and breathing deeply than it is to push yourself as far as you physically can. It's not a normal workout, it's Yoga - so try to stay connected with yourself, the sensations in your body, the thoughts in your mind, the emotions you feel along the way. There's no judgement and you have your entire future to practise.
