Power Yoga puts a bigger emphasis on building functional and dynamic strength in your body, rather than flexibility. It takes what you learn from other, more traditional styles or Yoga (such as Vinyasa and Hatha) but ups the difficulty with more reps, longer holds, tougher movements and maybe even some high intensity movement sprinkled in. It's not traditional, but it's a mindful and creative way to create real strength and stability throughout your entire body.

This style of Yoga is designed to push you so be prepared to work hard but don't put any pressure on yourself. If you ever need to take a short break, do it! No one's judging you here.
